What we collect

Verification record

Before you can view the catalogue, you complete an age and research-use confirmation. We record:

  • the date of birth you enter, and the age calculated from it;
  • which confirmations you ticked, and the version of the terms in force at that moment;
  • the date and time;
  • a keyed hash of your IP address — not the address itself — so that repeat attempts can be grouped without us retaining an identifier in the clear;
  • your browser’s user-agent string.

We keep this because we are required to be able to show who was shown what, and what they confirmed. It is a compliance record, not a marketing list, and it is never sold, shared or used to contact you.

Retention: 730 days (24 months), matching the retention period set in our verification system.

Order information

If you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, the items ordered, and the blockchain transaction that paid for them. We keep this for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Payment data

We do not collect or store card details — we do not accept cards. Cryptocurrency payments are public by nature: the transaction, the amount and the sending address are recorded on a public blockchain that we do not control and cannot alter or erase.

Technical data

Standard server logs, and cookies necessary for the site to function — your shopping cart, your login if you have an account, and a signed cookie recording that you passed the verification gate.

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers who need it to run the site:

  • DreamHost — web hosting, United States
  • Cloudflare — DNS and content delivery
  • Shipping carriers — name and delivery address only
  • We will update this list if we add further providers

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising.

Your rights

Depending where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to processing, or to receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Note one limit: we cannot delete a blockchain transaction. That data is on a public ledger outside our control.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: session, cart, login, and the verification cookie. Turning these off will stop the site functioning.
